You
You were the one who broke the ice,
I also felt, I need you to suffice!
So sweet a voice, that it stings,
And filled my heart with lovely feelings!
You made me a man, from a boy,
You taught me love, with your coy!
I wanted to say, but I let you go,
Something that now you will never know!
I thought the kisses on your forehead,
Will speak the words, I left unsaid!
I still cherish the touch of your skin,
On sleepless nights, without kith or kin!
I reminisce those dimples when you chuckle,
As I still dream you, ‘Miss Honeysuckle’!
I lived in dark, you turned on the lights,
Now, I want to relive again, all those nights!
I know, you do not need me anymore,
I know, you have somebody else to adore.
In my heart, I just have one little query.
Well, you can choose not to answer me!
Can you still feel the smell of me,
ever in solitude or in a party?
Do my thoughts, still stir your mind?
Or you don’t want to go down that wynd?
Do you still remember our talks over phone?
Amidst all of which you left me alone!
It’s with of your memories, that I still breathe,
As I recall, through my hair, your gentle writhe!
You will always be in my heart, to the core;
And I will continue loving you, forevermore!
To those who don't know what a wynd is, "It's generally referred to as a narrow lane between houses!
