Sitting quietly in the hall,
But I can hear you through the wall.
It's okay to not always stand up tall.
You don't need this wall, for me, at all.

It would be nice sometimes to know,
That you're not afraid 'let your feelings show,
You can be vulnerable with me, you know?
I only want to be there for you.

I mean, it's hard for me not to feel,
It seems to be the only thing I do anymore that's real.
But not everything's about that when it comes to you.
'Cas you matter so much more to me, than I do.

I wish you would just stay longer, a little while,
And we could chat awkwardly, just so I can see you smile.
And I really don't care, they can say whatever they say.
I just don't want to ever see you walking away.
