Winter winds come calling,
hatching frozen winter plots.
But here they’ll find me not,
I am lost in warmer thoughts.

Thoughts of summer sunshine,
it’s warm kiss upon my skin.
Crystal clear blue water,
beckoning me to jump on in.

Warm thoughts of summer nights
underneath the full moons glow
and gentle summer breezes
that whisper when they blow.

Winters winds come calling
hatching frozen winter plots.
But I’ll make through December,
lost in warmer thoughts.
