Aug 2018
Eye snap open
Pupils constrict
Heart begins to race
Breaths get sallow
Hands shake
Stomach churns
Mind begins to race
Body on edge
Weight sinks in
Feet hit the floor
And off you go
For it is the beginning
Of just another
Day
