So let's get lost in another time,
no worries,
no direction,
just us
in our own reflection.
Hold my hand,
as I will yours,
let our feet roam,
forever,
welcome home.
Brilliance,
all around us,
incomprehensible,
let us ponder,
all of these mysteries,
slowly,
as we wander.
A single moment,
is all it takes,
gone,
everything that was perfect,
until,
the new dawn.
Hold my hand,
'cause tomorrow,
is but borrowed time,
as yesterday,
was long ago.
My fingers,
they reach out,
to grab hold,
nothing,
just,
cold.
