Oh  in this great starry  universe
there is a warp  and  weave
a great mind  has woven
into the fabric  of eternity
from the farthest star
to the smallest sigh
that lives and lives
as the fire  of life burns brightly.
Oh, see the hue of the bow
that floats among the clouds
as the heart  of every living thing
burns each for each.
As my heart burns in a self  consuming fire!
You in my  heart to burn it to dust!
For a longing in my heart
burns to embrace  you
and all my bones and all my marrow
shall  consume away
if you can never be mine.
Oh, if you can never be mine
my heart  a sad funeral  song
shall  ever be
for a fate worse than  death
had overtaken me.
Oh, the treasure I  seek
is the love within you.
The flame of love
in this poor heart
burns brightly on.
A wild eternal fire
whose eternal flame
all  time that shall  ever be
can never ****.
