She wished upon the wishing well
Knowing that she could not tell
The world of her fears
That had been hidden for so many years

She threw a penny tuppence
Wishing for comeuppance
For all the bad things said
That made her wish she was dead

She wished upon a star
That she could go a far
Away from her fears
As she fought back the tears

She closed her eyes and focused
And wished a plague of locus
To rid her life of sorrow
To start a fresh tomorrow
