First He, Then I
He,
The one in front of me,
Speaks in fluent Christianese
And I listen
And fall back into that dialect of antiquity
I,
The atheist in front of him,
Speak in tune
And he nods
And accepts the faΓ§ade Iβve presented
We,
The former and the current,
Barely communicate
Through a thick layer
Of exclusivity
