Life is like a coffee shop:
We order, we beg, we plead, we ask.
But I ask, of whom?
Which first: the person or the task?

We are flying blind...
to those who give us perspective,
to those who show us the ground,
...only to seek some objective.

While fortune may favor the bold,
I ask "At what cost?"
Because all I see around me
are people getting lost.
