I always had a chance to escape
But I sat there
The view behind the rods wasn’t a jail
The outer world was
If you ever talked to me I’ll consider you a tale
But for now, I’ll sit here
And with my dreams I’ll sail and sail

Aster, Iris, Heather
You had them all even though I just wanted you
Your soft words and your shy laughter
Something made you special
The compliments you said were like feather
Made me laugh and wonder why people hated me
A poem about a girl with unrequited love
