You pulled me out of the darkness breaking down the walls I built around myself.
You took my hand in a way no one has before.
Your smile banished  my demons; saving me from the solitary confinement I put myself into.
You helped me learn how to love; helped me deal with touch.
You pulled me up from the depths of the underworld with your cool embrace.
Your laughter gave me the confidence to think big.
My pain vanished with you by my side.
You gave me these things yet I had to leave you, it hurts me to be so far away, I miss your hand in mine.
Miss you being so close, the way you laughed the way you smiled.
You broke down my walls and saved me.
Kept my mind from wandering too far; held me when I was sad and lonely.
You listened to my every word, helped me live in this world.
You pulled me out of the darkness, killed my demons and saved me.
You helped me to feel.
