Even though thanksgiving has come and gone,
there is still something to be thankful when this day is done.
Friday is here with all it's goods,
and I finally realize what I'm thankful for.
Amongst all the shoppers on this consumer day,
Im thankful people are still striving to fight inequality across the world.
While we watch people rush to get the best deal,
it might not be apparent
but there are people watching out for each other,
and caring for others before themselves.
A quality I seem to forget.
People who run against the current grain
And support the liberation of
Women,
the Poor,
and the rest of us,
Are my light during this foggy day.
