What started with a lie must end the way it began
But if all you wanted was the truth
All you had to do was ask

And the truth is that I would die for you
Because I'm not the one you find worth living for
And I'll just sing it out till every bit of heartache
Dies with every memory of you

And as my dying lungs start to fail me now,
It's your face that I see
And I believe it's to you
I owe my final words to

What started with a lie must end with a lie

And as your first teardrop for me
Falls from your eyes,
I take my cue
So listen close
Because I'm just going to say this once,
"I don't love you."

*What started with a lie must end with a lie
This here is a song, like most of my compositions are. Here we go again.
