First Glimpse of God

A father is a child's first glimpse of God

The beginning of their understanding of Him

A portrait of His strength and shelter

The first example of His authority

And His mercy

The child seeks his face and approval

As they will one day seek God's

They follow in his footsteps

As they will one day follow in God's
