Eyes like emeralds in an amethyst dress
Shining ruby lips, with with strands of pearl necklaces
Platinum heels, ready to take on the world
Golden locks, falling gracefully down in curls

Precious and witty
Coal turned pretty
Beauty such a pity
Looking into the gritty

As the sun begins to fade in an opal sky
Eyes blurred with sapphire tears held back
As she looks to her reflection
Flawless and tough like a diamond cutting glass

Precious and witty
Coal turned pretty
Beauty such a pity
Looking into the gritty

She hides behind jewels with flawless beauty
Not knowing she’s a gem already inside her heart
Made of more precious gifts than elements on earth
She’s from the stars; one with the universe

Precious and witty
Coal turned pretty
Beauty such a pity
Looking into the gritty
She’s ready
