Drifting alone, floating in the candle light
Somewhere you're here, with me in the night

You're with me, but not
When I'm with you again, my pain will rot

Until the next day, but for now we depart
This night is mine, to dream of us
And I feel you, taking a space in my heart
A space saved for you, as it gathered dust

Peace is mine tonight, a gift
I can feel your lips on mine, so swift

My worries are away
I'm only waiting for the day

The day, when we can be
But the night, the peace; is my time for me

And I use it to dream of you
You make me feel so different, so new

But here I am, drifting alone in the candle light
By myself, but not alone tonight
