Giving him all of her happiness,
She watched him walk away,
Leaving her empty once again,
Without a thought to spare,
Never looking back,
He walked away gleefully as if he were renewed.
Led forward by his hopeful vision of a future,
His presence disappearing,
And all she saw then was a door,
A dark, creeking old, blue door.
