Silken stone
dewed damp
tipping to topple
over outcropping-
balanced buttress
feigning flightlessness
until, unexpected, uphill
avalanche advances
rushing, racing
poised to push-
rock rolls
sailing slow

explosion echoes
crisscross canyon.
