Come home from your travels out west
And I promise I’ll be the best, Better than I’ve ever been
These are the song I’ll be writing if you plan on leaving
If you leave, leave knowing you’re leaving my behind
I’m not ready for the big dreams and lights
I’m not ready for the endless nights out on the road
Cause if I go, then who am I inside?

I can’t piggy-back your big dreams
And keep mine in a jar
I want careless bed and breakfasts
And falling for the wonder that you are

But the nights are getting colder and your dreams are getting bigger
Longing for the long nights on the road, Living for the stage and spotlights
While I’m quietly at home

So if you love me, believe me when I say, I love you endlessly
I wish you where coming home tonight, stay for more than till sunlight
I only know you in my dreams, replaying what we used to be
not finished just a free write
