Alone here with the girl in the mirror
I can’t help but to have a growing fear
She’s familiar but ...
We are known to see different truths and lies
I can’t trust anything through her eyes
I couldn’t even tell you, which one of us is the real deal
Which way is the truth, beyond the mirror

So which would they choose
I admit, too, I’m rather confused
Would they want me?
Or is she their dream that they’d rather I be
I believe I need to know if it is her or me
Since I couldn’t even tell you, which one of us is the real deal
Which way is the truth, beyond the mirror

I feel her trying to control us both
I try and try to hold on to my hope
Are we both lost?
I am screaming inside but she looks so quite
Maybe she’s already got it figured out
And still, I couldn’t tell you, which one of us is the real deal
Which way is the truth, beyond the mirror
