Reputation like Marilyn Monroe
I’m known as the girl next door
I’ve been the classic blonde bombshell
Even the most innocent angel

I’ve caused my share of trouble
Leaving damage along the way
I’ve been too naive and easy
Desperate for one love for me

I didn’t mean to do it at all, baby
Wasn’t supposed to turn to this way
My crime is trying too hard to win
Something that I needed from within
And I didn’t mean to pave my way
To hell, lost in amazement, and no
Beauty can’t change it; the forsaken

Spent a life at fighting in my head
So many tears behind the curtains
Smile and pretend to have it all
By reflection, who is the girl I saw?

Be the best at everything; a queen
Manners, appearance are everything
But they all want me now, my baby
I can dress up and make it *****

I didn’t mean to do it, at all
Learned the hard way with her
Miss Monroe, you had to fall
They won’t let you win in society
You can’t be the ***** and lady
No way to tease and be classy
I didn’t mean to do it; to do either

Legacy and memory will support
No matter the judgements; distorts
There are love, truths, and non-users
Only too late, for some lost females

I didn’t mean to do it at all, baby
Wasn’t supposed to turn to this way
Beauty had forsaken and taken me
What I wanted, was my crime spree
And I didn’t mean to pave my way
To hell, lost in amazement, and no
Us girls, Miss Monroe, didn’t mean it

Fascination grows, history repeats it
