Just like the vastness of a deep ocean,
your blue eyes penetrate me with
the swiftness of a clean sword strike
falling its enemy in one single blow,
leaving behind nothing but a trail of
desire as deep and red as the blood
that runs through my veins.

Just like a glazed shrapnel of ice
melting on the floor,
I am under your spell;
a spell to which you must have cast
a thousand times before.

Just like the dew that dances upon
delicate blades of grass on
a brisk, spring morning
or the rain that falls and
covers the bare earth,
your beauty crashes upon me
and blankets my existence.

I am unto you,
for now
and forever more.
