Needy

by Nettersue

I needed attention In the noise of distraction I needed a haven In the torrent of the storm I needed water In the midst of the desert I needed oxygen In the depths of outer space I needed to be seen But all around me were blind I needed touch But no one reached out I needed guidance But there was no GPS I needed truth Yet was bathed in lies I needed you I needed someone But no one showed up.
