Like Fire and Ice

The raging heat of your skin

And the chill of mine

It always makes my head spin

And makes me better than fine

Before that touch would make me mad

A touch I wish was cold as rain.

But now when its gone I'm sad

The touch that keeps me sane.

Your hands alone can be the two

Both fire and ice in equal parts

A genuine warmth and chills too

Both cause a joining of our hearts.

The chill is caused by your ghostly touch

Which sends a shiver down my spine

As odd as it sounds, I love that touch so much

And it always spins this head of mine.

The warmth of your body, that I hold tight

Seeping into my body of ice

The warmth will take away my fright

And the difference feels nice

Fire and Ice are both in your hand.

And words can't even start

They wouldn't help to understand

The unbelievable joy in my heart.

Those two can join as one

Both joined together by our heart

With love as burning as the sun.

Even when we're apart.
