Nov 2012
hot
melting
pouring your sweet scent
between my lips
so lightly spread
air thick with anticipation
of your taste
oh Lady Summer, i pray for your embrace

Lady Winter,
your cold burning the warmth against my skin
taking all the day light
repenting for my sins
the hallow haunting of afflictions
as november wraps me in
ice frosted fingertips
bleeding in my skin

oh Lady Winter,
please leave me be
painted by the pain your weathered your eyes can see
As I wait for Lady Summer
hearing faint whispers in the wind
of a kiss I might remember
in a place I used to live
