Beauty once was,
and always shall be,
a gift of love for all eyes to see.
A sparkling sea,
draped in soft golden sand.
A pair of lovers intertwined by the hands.
The laughter of a joyful child.
Met by a mothers loving smile.
Cast aside by eyes filled with grief.
Yet set anew by the turn of each leaf.
