I guess i kept you in the world i was in,
Tied to my limp light.
I couldn't help but drag you in my mud,
Tied to my limp light.

I guess i lost you in the world i was in,
Refused to see you go.
I washed my hands and i denounced change.
Refused to see you go.

I guess i never saw the world i was in,
Neglecting drifting lines.
I walked a mile away each time you reached,
Neglecting drifting lines.

Now i know the world i made you leave me in,
I could of made this right.
I tainted yours with that which i brought,
I should of made this right.

I will not hold the door to this world I'm in,
I shouldn't will you back,
It's of no consequence even if i did.
You wouldn't take me back.
