Poems
Jun 2018
The way home.
On sidewalks find my feet.
Do I follow quickened beat.
OfΒ Β haste to free myself of them.
All the dreary numb.
That lack of sound
drown pain of ground .
And nightly free abate.
In step abound of all so fleet
That of my ear does fight to greet
To cause my gait to quicken so
And find my thoughts so easy go.
To a room of my own mind
A place no map can find.
The silence against the churning road.
That hyme in me that is abode.
So nightly I Intern to keep,
The dreams i find within my sleep.
My quit and quiet, little place,
And only peace I know.
