I still remember those days on the couch,
Playing games side by side.
I remember how we’d hang out,
In a virtual world we’d hide.
We kept chatting our youth away,
Facing life, wave after wave.
Brothers in arms, fighting until the end.
Together, we could be brave.
Now our lives have diverged,
Those times have passed, its true.
But you will always have been my best friend.
You will always be my player two.
Years have passed and we meet again,
Awkward small talk, it’s kinda lame.
So I ask you, not for the last time:
“You up for a quick game?”
