Yesterday I finally realized;
I’m finally ready to get over you;
I’m ready to let go;
I’m tired of waiting;
Waiting for you to see;
See that I’m here;
I love you;
But I’m done waiting for you to realize;
Realize what we have;
I see it;
I will always want you;
A part of me will always be yours;
But for right now;
I don’t need you;
I need me;
Maybe someday we’ll find our way back to each other;
But for right now, I need to do what’s best for me;
And what’s best for me is not waiting for something that may or may not happen;
Until you’re ready;
I’ll do me;
And you do you;
You may never realize;
But that is your loss, not mine then;
Because if you don’t realize me for who I am;
Or who I want to be with you;
Then there is nothing I can do for you;
But let the opportunity go that was sought out to be;
A truly;
Amazing;
Thing.
