How I Loved You
They say,
When you love a flower,
You leave it there to blossom
Instead of plucking it away.
Love is loving,
Not having.
Just like how I loved you.
Not when the cameras are flushing,
And applause are ringing.
But when I close my eyes and the world drops dead,
And your symphony still soars like a lightning,
Straight through my head.
