Mar 2010
I’m staring at the sun with a loaded gun
Blazed in glory firing aimlessly for fun
I shot the wind shredded it thin
Violently she spread her wings
The wrath of her breeze tore off these sleeves
Filling me with vigor
Now I sit here alone in peace
Memories decease, life repeats, love defeats
But nothing can take away the array of bullets sprayed that day
Painted curiously in the shape of a bouquet
Petals shed for the life I lead
Here today I hold the key
To open a lock that will foresee
The end of me
