Waking up the morning after
Not a Sunday
But, a Wednesday
Waking up the morning after
My baby leaves
Waking up with a hangover
From love
Take away the headaches
No getting sick
Add the tears
And add the sadness, dear
There's no pill to swallow
So, just sit and wallow
And try to get through
Cling to the memories
That have been shared over time
The wonderful memories
That bring tears to your eyes
Trying to function is less than easy
Trying to keep going knowing you're so far
It's less than easy
