I think I like you best
when you come to me
on wings of purple hazy drunken nights.
Cheers of new years,
flowers and happy tears,
a few far aways,
but almost all so-nears.

I think I like you best
when you drown out the sound of my worries
with one look.
Stolen stairwell kisses,
cupid's gold medal - all hits and no misses,
3 AM rug-on-the-floor blisses.

I thought I loved you best
when you came to me
in my memories.

But here you are,
and I think I like you best
when you're here.
O no it's drunk again
