Oct 2012
White cotton fluff, floating on fields of azure
Up... and away
Severed from my eyes as I nod
Drifting down below Time
Into the depths of my tainted soul
Ugly and shameful
Withered and scorched
A vast, broken desert
Cracked earth screaming for moisture
Pleading for life
Like the fading memory of
Better Days
When Hope was alive
And anything was possible
