Flowers bloom in the empty parts of me
Soil lined stomach and water blood
A tiny succulent sprouts
An abandoned graveyard of bones and pills
Lungs clouded with smoke from meal replacement ciggarettes
Green tea helps them grow
Silly girl, flowers don’t need food
One day you will be beautiful
