Cry on the Inside
And when I thought
everything was going
to be fine
It didn't
My pillow now serves
as a shoulder
to cry on
for comfort
My blanket now serves
as a hand
that muffles
my screams of agony
My cries of sorrow
are kept
by the four walls
that surround me
And when I thought
everything was going
to be fine
It didn't
It still isn't.
