Spontaneous Combustion
See how she smiles?
See how she laughs?
It seems I have misjudged,
It seems that I have lost.
His hand touches hers lightly,
she grasps his hand tightly.
It feels like I'm being torn apart
by watching this lovely scene.
They look so in love,
so enthralled with one another.
It seems like the fire I put out,
has been rekindled from spontaneous combustion.
At this point, I just need to let it go,
at this point, I need to let them be.
The fire between her and I
will never fully burn out.
