Alone
Green leaves are growing back on the trees.
Warm air fills the flowering breeze.
But her heart is still not at ease.
Sadness is all she sees.
Her soul has been in a deep freeze.
And all she’s left with now are the memories.
Yet there’s nothing she can do with these.
Because it’s harder to stay, than to leave.
