I am but an ordinary man,
I loose myself to thy desire,
I laugh, I cry, I sin,
But still I am ordinary.

You may think me a strange one,
But I assure like me,
You are nowhere but everywhere,
I am you, I am your family, I am your friends,
I am everyone.

I am there when you fall,
And there when you stand,
I give thy ear to you,
But never thy voice,
And when you’re gone I’ll be there.

And when I’m finished,
I will still be ordinary.
