The universe, in all its majesty
In all its beauty and grandeur
Is quite bothersome, confusing almost
It decides without you
It does not think of you
It cares not for you
It throws at you things horrible and unimaginable
It takes you by the hand one moment
The next by your neck
And leaves you gasping
Clutching onto dear life
Yet, in all its cruelness
Owes you absolutely nothing
