I lay here
Darkness all around me
Tv faintly glowing
Whispering in the dark
I close my eyes
Trying to clear my head
Thoughts keep creeping up
Loudly swirling around
Making it hard for me to sleep

I lay here
In the dark
Wishing i could fall asleep
It seems so easy for others
Close eyes
Breathe deep
Relax
and sleep

I lay here
Consumed by darkness
Waiting for it to suffocate me
So finally i can get some sleep
