Mar 2018
For her I burn, for her I cry
With clashing visions racing by
She rends my tattered dreams apart
My shattered heart she leaves to die
But she's a Fairy Tale!

She flutters in and out my mind
My soul she traps and wings she binds
Tears I've bled and fortunes lost
All for a jewelled and jaded lie
But she's a Fairy Tale!

With silver threads entwining hope
Around my neck in bladed rope
Her charming words and careless curses
Plunge me into depthless woe
But she's a Fairy Tale!
