No Sleep

No Sleep How can I sleep? When it's raining in my head And the thoughts of you lingers in my brain, Like a single thunder moving behind a single cloud Can't see you, can only hear. How can I sleep? When it's a constant sound of waves crashing into a wall As if nature was divided And is fighting to be together again. How can I sleep? When the very silence of the room That is the loudest of sounds I will hear And the chills of my heart stimulates an assumption of fear. But wait! Hear that? of course, you don't! You wouldn't even stop to hear the sounds, Melody some might say, Only! That's just the sound of my heart when you're around. But! How can I not sleep? When it's the same thing Over and over again, Maybe one should seek comfort in it And live by the sounds. Then again, It's just a dream and for now I Just Can't Sleep!!! Keshawn Champagnie
