Clair de Lune
There is one who I love.
Radiant, she sits in a chariot of stars
And glistens on snow from above.
Among white lies silver scars.
Some nights she wears a veil
Of satin clouds and swirling lace.
Others, she disappears through shadowy gale.
Just as beautiful as when she shows her face.
I write her letters, a serenade from breathless voice.
For her beauty has long taken mine away.
Helios must come, regardless of choice.
But still, I beg her to stay.
She twirls into dawn with effortless grace.
I gaze, ghosted with her lightβs embrace
An ode to the moon. I wrote this a while ago so it's kind of bad quality, sorry!
