Then all was silent

For there was a relentless

Hysteria of calm

Investing a barbarism

Of grotesque stillness

That lay about a treachery

Of gross tranquility

In the midst of human kind

All are lost for words in 2061

All, all, all are dumb in 2061

For I have seen it, the silence
