The Whip
Have you ever met such a kind soul who didn't know their worth
Or a pair of eyes who long to smile but no longer know how
A marvelous wonder of a human being you'd expect to find at the end of a rainbow
Instead she is captured in a fiery cage full of hate , rage and doubt
One who follows his games and takes the blame as if there is no way out
She knows no true love from that one
He took the oxygen and choked the wildfire that had once claimed her soul
He had stole her sparkle and shine
With his every word her heart was broken bound to chains and tamed
He had made her a fool to his games
His touch like poison a sting from the lash of it
For he is the whip who bruised her .
