I’m surrounded by Depression –
Cramped house with one room –
No windows to see –
Small door that can grow –

Dead vines surrounding –
Pitiful to the eyes –
Never knowing what’s inside –
Darkness in disguise –

People fear it –
I embrace it –
Dealing with it every day –
Knowing I can survive –
