A Lover's Prayer

There's a quiet place inside me
I don't know where it is,
but I think I found her years ago
and I love her and I'll never stop
I said I love her and I'll never stop

Stupidity of youth
Oh! How you've cheated me,
but I've cheated myself you know.
I still smell your love and your lust
I've found you again
under the most strangest of circumstances
Under the weight of sorrow's sickness
I bare the weight
I break the restraints
and run to you with mending heart
and open arms
to accept you with all your glory

Forever
And ever
Amen
