Listen child,
Do you see her?
A girl with hair as dark as charcoal,
With alien language slipping out of her lips?
She and you are different.
She is wrong

Listen child,
Do you see him?
Looking around, but unable to see
Living in a world where light never shines
He and you are different
He is wrong

Listen child,
Do you see them?
Shouting love, but doing it wrong
Love is between a "man and a woman"
You and they are different
They are wrong

No, I will not listen
Her hair makes her unique
Her diverse language enlarges her world

No, I will not listen
His darkness enhances the rest of him
He hears and feels the things we cannot

No, I will not listen
They have the courage to love who they love
Love is an emotion between "people"

She and I are different
He and I are different
Them and I are different
Different is not wrong
Different is different
